Very good. At the last moment the sacrifice was not done. God just wanted to see wether Abraham was willing to obey Him in everything, even by sacrificing his own son. The well-known patriarch Abraham is a type of God, who loved the world so much that he gave His Son as a sin-offering for our sins.

A sheep as a sin offering is visible in the Chinese sign for righteous(ness). It is composed of the characters for sheep, hand and spear.

Righteous = Sheep + Hand + Spear
